Who We Are

This website is operated by BacterioWater (“we,” “us,” “our”). We are an independent laboratory research supplier of research-grade sterile bacteriostatic water for laboratory research use only, sold and shipped through this site. We do not manufacture, fill, or test the product.

Using Our Site

  • You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account details (if any) accurate and secure.
  • We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the site at any time.

Our Role: Independent Supplier

BacterioWater is an independent laboratory supplier and reseller of finished product. We do not manufacture, fill, package, or test the products we sell. Each lot is manufactured and filled by a third-party facility and tested by an independent laboratory before release.

  • We purchase finished, sealed stock and resell it; we do not alter, repackage, or relabel it.
  • Certificates of Analysis published on this site are the issuing laboratory's documents, reproduced as issued. We do not perform the analyses they record.
  • Product specifications, formulation, and expiry dates are set by the manufacturer, not by us.
  • We are not an agent of, and do not speak for, any manufacturer or laboratory.

Research Use Only

Our products are laboratory reagents labeled and sold for laboratory research use only. They are not for human or veterinary use, and are not labeled for injection or self-use. We do not provide medical, dosing, or treatment advice, and nothing on this site should be taken as medical guidance.

Placing Orders

  • Prices and availability may change without notice.
  • An order is considered accepted once payment is processed and we send an order confirmation.
  • If we cannot fulfill an order (for example, due to error or lack of stock), we may cancel it and issue a refund.
  • Payments are handled through a secure, third-party payment processor. Your card details are transmitted over encrypted connections directly to that processor, and we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Shipping and Changes

  • Shipping methods, timing, and limitations are described on our Shipping & Returns page.
  • We begin processing shortly after payment. Once an order is in progress, it usually cannot be changed or canceled.

Returns and Inspection

  • Returns are shipped back to us. Contact us first so the return can be authorized and the return address confirmed.
  • Every returned vial is inspected before it is restocked. We check the seal, the aluminum crimp and flip-off cap, the lot code on the label, and the condition of the vial. Anything showing signs of mishandling, damage, or tampering is not returned to stock and is never resold.
  • Issues such as damage, loss, or incorrect items are handled through review and, when appropriate, replacement or credit as explained on the Shipping & Returns page.

Product Information and COAs

  • We aim to keep product details, lot information, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs) accurate and current.
  • However, we do not guarantee that all information on the site, including COAs, is free from typographical or formatting errors.
  • It is your responsibility to review documentation and determine suitability for your own internal requirements.

No Guarantees Beyond What is Stated

  • Except as required by law, our products and this site are provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties of any kind.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or our products.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that specific order.

Links and Third Parties

From time to time, we may share or link to other websites, for example, carrier tracking pages (UPS) or reference resources. Those sites are run by separate companies, so their content and policies are their own. If you visit them, we recommend reviewing their terms and privacy policies.

Updates To These Terms & Conditions

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
